Diorios made several of these gorgeous, massive pectorals This pendant is a much embellished goldtone and enamel copy of a necklace owned by Queen Mereret of Dashur It appears pictured on plate 30 and beautifully described as #30 on page 117 of the book "Jewels Of The Pharaohs" by Cyril Aldred The marvelous upper section and the lower lotus and scarab dangles are adapted from a pectoral from the Tutankhamon Jewels The two beautifully enameled sections with 5 scarabs hang from a14", 1/2" wide decorative metal bookchain.
