Vintage Schrager butterfly pin is pictured on Page 184 of Brunialti's, "Tribute to America". A January, 1942 ad from "Jewelers' Circular Keystone describes this butterfly pin as "The Glorious Butterfly" -- and glorious it is. It is described as "having the finest cut imported color stones set in a background of scintillating rhinestones". This sumptuous and colorful butterfly pin is set with huge prong-set oval amethyst colored rhinestones in silvertone metal paved with icy clear crystal rhinestones and has emerald green rhinestone eyes. It measures approximately 3-3/4 x 3" and has a safety closure. It is unsigned as they all were and is in all original condition fresh from an estate where it remained lovingly stored for many years. Although there is a slight tinge of yellow to some of the stones because of aged glue, the stones and metal are in Excellent Condition.
