Item Description:
Vintage Beau sterling silver hummingbird pin has great detail and a unique construction with the bottom wing applied to the pin via a tab to give the pin three dimensionality. The pin measures approximately 1-5/8 x 1-1/4 and has a safety closure. It is signed "Beau Sterling" in a rectangular signature plaque on the reverse of the pin. It is in Excellent Condition. Due to the lack of a copyright symbol and the construction of the pin, we believe this pin dates prior to the mid 1950s. Since the company started in the early 1940s, we estimate the dating on this pin from about 1943 to 1955. A charming vintage sterling silver hummingbird pin by Beau!
