This is a gorgeous buckle done in elaborate Victorian design with a center amethyst glass stone. The buckle measures 4-3/4 x 1-1/2". I am not sure whether there was another piece to this or not. By the looks of the back the belt thread through the single long loop and then the fasteners may be hooked to loops on the fabric. Lots of possibilities for this piece.
