Item Description:
Vintage and possibly a Victorian "Cast Iron Hummingbird" doorstop which is in very good condition. I can assure you it is old and more conservatively I would say 1900-1920. I doesn't appear that this doorstop has been repainted but I can't be absolutely positive. A few little marks and very slight rust spots here and there, but overall this stop is in great shape. This is a half moon shaped doorstop with two ruby-throated hummingbirds on some periwinkle flowers. It measures 7 3/4 inches high, 7 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches deep. It weighs 2 pounds and 11 ounces. On the back it is market "c MI" -- c for copyright.
