This brooch is just yummy! It measures 2" diameter and a magnificent 1" high! This a wonderful flower that just keeps opening. This piece has twists and turns of filigeed brass, set with a lower ring of deep pink bezel-set chaton crystals. The next layer is large sparkling pink crystals with the blossom fully open at the top with one large bezeled deep pink crystal surrounded by detailed brass leaves.
Although unmarked this brooch resembles numerous marked Austrian pieces in my collection. Austria was noted for the use of the very best in stones and you can definitely see that here.
This brooch will be wonderful for an evening out, party, or that long-planned cruise!
