Item Description:
This is a design used by several manufacturers. Those designs were then copied without quite as much detail. This is set is quite lovely, however, it is a copy. The original, and earlier pieces, such as Regency, for which this is an almost an exact copy, prong-set their stones. The stones in this set are glued with faux prongs which are there, but for decoration only. Even as a copy, the set is elegant with the sweep of the gold leaves and the accent of clear rhinestone navettes and chatons. All is set in a brushed goldtone setting. The rhinestones are gold foiled, and they, along with the faux baroque pearls have open settings on the back.
The earrings are clip back, and consist of one faux baroque pearl perched above a goldtone flower with a single chaton rhinestone center.
Delicate and feminine, this brooch and earrings will look beautiful from boardroom to to evening out, and elegant for wedding attire.
