An extremely rare large porcelain doll is this "Alice in Wonderland" by noted artist Thelma Resch. Wearing a blue dress with white pinafore. Blue eyes and blonde hair. No box of hang tag.
We sold an Alice last year for $395 that was from a very limited edition of the first 25 dolls. These dolls sold out immediately and another edition of 2000 was produced. This doll is number 896 from that second and last edition.
This doll is the same in every respect as the one we sold last year for $395.
The doll is numbered on her neck and signed by the artist in 18kt gold. She comes with her certificate, original box and in fact has never been removed from the box.
