Elizabeth Taylor Egyptian Parure Avon

The Egyptian perure: cuff, earrings and ring,  was Ms. Taylor's first collection for Avon, issued in 1993 and is one of the most popular.

The 1-1/4" spectacular cuff is matte goldtone thickly inscribed with Egyption heiroglyphs

and an almost an exact copy of a cuff belonging to Queen Ah-Hotep, Tutankhamon's ancestral grandmother.

The earrings are gol plated royal falcons with a simulated lapis cabochon, turquois enamel and simulated beads.

The ring is, again, the gold-winged falcon surrounding a large, teardrop, simulated amethyst.
