This large Pierrot was created by doll artist Kay McKee. Again, she has captured the sparkle and glitter of a circus clown and combined it with vibrant colors. This is a unique work of art limited to 25 pieces. "Blue" Pierrot is dressed in moire with glittery silver threads on the leg cuffs, arm cuffs, neck color and hat. Have you ever seen blue hair on a doll? -- you have now.
Blue, slight purple and sliver adorn this colorful clown which would highlight any doll collection. This doll comes from a San Francisco estate, cost $650 new, is in excellent condition as a result of being in a covered case for his first fifteen years, but no hang tag or box.
This doll has blue eyes and hair, porcelain head, arms and legs (blue porcelain shoes), and a wire armature cloth body. With proper care this French Stardust Pierrot will last for generations to come --and hopefully inspire many sweet smiles! Scroll down to view the close up of the face.
