Item Description:
This is a beautiful compact/locket with a 14K white gold front and back. Marked inside Belais 14K White Gold Front and also a company hallmark R&G. (possibly Ripley and Gowen in Attleboro, Mass. This was probably originally a rouge or powder compact as it has a mirror on one side. It was later used by the owner as a picture locket. It does have a ring at the top for hanging. Hinged and beautiful engraving on both sides in excellent condition. A lovely estate item and collectible.
