This is a lovely vintage brooch in the Arts and Crafts style - I say this because of the hammered design on the lower petals and the deeply textured and lined upper silvertone petals around a center goldtone cluster. Simplicity yet detailed. It appears that it could be a dogwood blossom by the notched petals. Regardless, the woman that wore this related she wore it on outerwear coats, jackets and on the softest of dresses and blouses, always receiving compliments. |
