Very ornate Victorian Style Brass B.P.O.E Entrance Sets made by Russell & Erwin, New Bedford, CT. These are reproductions, probably made in the 1950's or 1960's, but could even be from the 1920's. I don't know if they came out of a B.P.O.E (Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks) hall or what the story is on them. These Entrance Sets have not been made for many years by Russell & Erwin, who are still in business. They are large and heavysets. Each set weighs 4 pounds for a total of 8 pounds for a pair.
