Item Description:
Vintage Eisenberg enamel bangle bracelet from the 1970s line of Eisenberg enamels in an exclusive baked enamel process that Karl Eisenberg, the grandson of the founder of the company, says that can no longer be done. These enamels were featured at the Chicago Contemporary Art Museum and were patterned after the works of famous modern artists like Picasso, Braque, Chagall and even Peter Max. Becoming more and more difficult to find, these enamels were produced during a short period of time and are becoming even more highly collectible than in the past, perhaps because they were so ahead of their time that they seem so very right for today's fashions. This cream-colored bangle bracelet in goldtone metal is great for its practical color versatility to wear alone or in groups with others. The bracelet is approximately 1/2" wide and has a locking clasp with safety chain. The inner dimension is approximately 2-1/4 x 2-1/2" and the closure snaps and is secure and tight. There is a block "E" signature with a copyright on the inside of the bracelet. In Excellent Condition, here is a great vintage piece to add to your collection, but enjoy wearing too!
