BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE SCHUMANN BAVARIA LATTICEWORK CHATEAU PLATTER!!! A rare find: beautiful antique decorative latticework plate from the "Chateau" line made by the Carl Schumann Porcelain Factory of Bavaria. However, wait, it gets better: On the underside, beneath the world famous "Schumann Bavaria" coat-of-arms featuring a griffin, are the words "Germany, U.S. Zone" meaning this beautiful piece of china was made just after World War II when Germany was still an occupied zone. This adds a little mystique to an already-fetching piece. 10¼ long, 7" wide, hand painted, no chips, no cracks, excellent condition.
