This is a gorgeous vintage brooch measuring 3 x 1-1/2". All enamel in beautiful blue colors with a colonial costumed figure in the center. This brooch does have a few small enamel issues and there has been a repair to the central figure {repositioned or reglued) at some time. The base is sterling and it is signed on the back "Champleve" and another word, can't make it out. Also several hallmarks including a raised hand and scythe ?
