Eisenberg enamel mushroom pin is a real charmer from the 1970s Eisenberg enamels collection. This buttery cream colored mushroom with gold tone accents was done in an exclusive enamel process that, according to Karl Eisenberg, grandson of the founder, cannot be duplicated today. Recalling the motifs of the 1970s, this retro mushroom pin measures a generous 2-1/8 x 1-1/2" and has a safety closure. It is in Excellent Condition although we must mention that there appears to be a slight manufacturing defect in the enamel at about 11 O'Clock on the top of the mushroom where there is a slight dot of color in the enamel that can be seen in our picture. Another similar one, although smaller, can be seen at the outer edge. This is really unremarkable and would not be evident when worn, but we mention it for the sake of complete disclosure. The pin is signed with a block "E" and a copyright symbol. This is a beautiful and very much in demand Eisenberg mushroom pin in a color that will go with just about anything in your wardrobe, so you will wear it often. The Eisenberg enamel jewelry collection was shown at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago in the 1970s. This genuine Eisenberg enamel mushroom pin is a wonderful example of the artistry of Eisenberg enamels that is as wearable today as it was in the 1970s -- maybe even more because these were definitely ahead of their time!
