Item Description: |
This is a wonderful handcarved German Music Figure that whistles Octa Leiber and turns his head. He is 13" tall to the top of the carving and to the top of the light he is 17-1/4". The light is a purplish glass, but it is not connected. You can hear some noise but the whistle is nice and clear. The carving is unusually good. Two toes are showing. He has a bottle in his pocket . There is one 1" thin sliver piece of wood cracked right below the elbow in the back of the figure. Everything is in very good condition. It is done in around the early 1900's. The detail is wonderful and it comes with a newer key. Music box is in good condition. No repairs.
