Beautiful sash brooch measures 2-1/4 x 1-1/4 and features a leafy design accented with rhinestone and beads with center beautiful rose red unfoiled stone. Heavy silver filigree. Unmarked. FAQ - Sash pins or brooches were made to hold in place "sashes" draped over the shoulder or tied around the waist as a belt. Popular in the late Victorian, Edardian era 1890 - 1910.
