Item Description:
This is probably from the 1940's era. It measures 1 1/2" in diameter. It has never been used ~~ it still has the original clear celluloid cover over the rouge, along with the powder puff which has never been used. The sides and bottom of the compact are ribbed. The bottom is marked "Evening In Paris, Bourjois, New York Distributor" and has the original tag for the color of the rouge: Brilliant. The rouge is marked Evening In Paris & has a very short dent in it. The mirror shows some light aging and tiny spots which are due to the age of the compact. Otherwise, it is in very good vintage condition. The plaid cloth showing in the top of the mirror is my blouse.
