Wendell-August Hammered Aluminum Plate, Basket of Pansies

This is a lovely piece from the Wendell August Forge.  The front has a woven basket full of pansies, the reverse side is hand hammered along with their logo.  It is approximately 4 1/4" in diameter.  It was made in 1998, celebrating their 75th anniversary, having begun their business in 1923.   I believe it has never been used, it is in the original box along with their booklet which includes their history, techniques, and cleaning instructions.  The Wendell August Forge items are created one piece at a time, and their logo includes the hallmark of the craftsman who hammered it, and the initials of the master die engraver who hand cut the die.  One corner of the box has a small scuff.  Otherwise, everything is in very good condition.
