Item Description: |
Beautiful hand-painted china Nippon mayonnaise bowl with matching ladle. Bowl has three round feet with gold trim. Painted decoration on both pieces is violets, and bowl rim and ladle have thin gold trim. Bowl is 4 and 5/8 inches in diameter and 2 and 1/8 inches high; ladle is 5 inches long. Bottom of each piece says "Hand Painted Nippon" with the crown mark in between. Both in very nice condition, in storage for many years. Made in Japan prior to 1921. |
