This is a very unusual ring from an estate that I have had for years. I always thought I would be able to find out more about the engraving on the stone. A raised arm, hand, sword and star. This ring is 14K, very old and It is in the original box from Daniel Low & Co in Salem, Mass. Idocrase was first discovered on Mt. Vesuvius in 1795 and is a very unusual stone. I do have an appraisal on this item with more information on stone size, cut, etc. and will be adding more information to this description as soon as I locate the appraisal.
