Bravo! Bravo! Another beautiful pair of antique Lorgnette opera glasses brought to you by All That Glitters in beautiful Bridgeport, Connecticut. These are a real find. The lenses are just over 1½" in diameter and are in excellent condition, no scratches. The frame features a lovely etched design that is difficult to see in the photographs. The mechanism doesn't operate smoothly; it requires a bit of assistance to open the glasses. The lined leather carrying case, marked "Henry Miller Co. 1111 Lexington Avenue, N.Y. BET. 77TH AND 78TH STREETS" is in good condition with some wear and a loose thread. "Aida," anyone? |
