Cross Necklace- Sterling Vermeil and CZ Stones

Cross Necklace is marked 925 sterling and has a vermeil finish with pave set cz open back stones. The necklace chain is goldtone 24" and the sterling cross pendant is 1-1/8".  The pendant has it's own matching bale. A really gorgeous necklace

What Is A CZ ???  In 1937 two German mineralogists  discovered the cubic form of zirconium oxide, but it wasn't until the 1970's that Soviet scientists learned how to produce this mineral in a laboratory making it a synthetic from a natural material. Not long after that the jewelry designers were fascinated by its beauty. It comes closer than any other gem to matching the characteristics of the diamond. It sparkles brighter than crystal and the stones will never lose the look and should last for years.
