Fabulous enamel framed porcelain brooch done in the Gainsborough style is by TLM (Thomas L. Mott) England. The porcelain is delicately hand touched and features a young lady in costume of the day with a voluminous hat and long curled hair. The brooch is about 2" oval and has a lovely ivory color enamel frame touched with gold. This is a brooch/pendant so it will do double duty for your jewelry wardrobe. This is signed on the back and in very good condition. There is some writing at the bottom right on the front of the brooch, but even my magnifying glass will not pick it up. Most of our items are vintage unless we tell you otherwise. Therefore expect them to be in "Vintage" condition. We do not thoroughly clean our vintage jewelry, leaving that to the preferences of the buyer, but if there are any serious problems, flaws or noticeable repairs, we will note it in the description.
