Measuring 3" wide x 3-1/2" deep x 2-1/2" high, it is just perfect for earrings or rings. The exterior of this iron piece is in wonderful condition with a deep patina goldtone coloring. It has a little shield on the top of the lid, framed by a feathering of leaves on each side. The interior has the original pale green silk and piping, and amazingly enough, it has not shattered and is still very soft.
