Russian Wood & Enamel Red Bird Brooch / Pin There is glare across the picture as this is a very shiny surface and hard to picture as it truly is. The main colors are red and gold with a little green on black in this Russian wooden brooch. The subject is a large gorgeous flying bird, and a man that has pulled a feather out. Don?t know if this is a fairytale or Russian lore. This is one of the prettiest Russian brooches I ever had. The back is a simple safety pin signed by the artist but hard to read. Size: 2 ?? across and 1 ?? high. In very good condition.
