A sweet brooch by Beau Sterling reviving the popular Posey Holders - this one, I believe, was made to hold a single floral stem - probably a rose. Posey holders were very popular in the Victorian period and seem to have a resurgence in popularity every 25 years or so. They came in all sizes and shapes some even meant to carry a bouquet.
