Vintage rhinestone duette clips features a loopy bow motif with clear round rhinestones and emerald rhinestone baguettes in silvertone metal. These clever clips from the 1940s have a device which allows them to be worn together as a pin or separately as clips. Highly collectible this beautiful vintage duette measures approximately 2-1/2 x 1-1/4". Research on the duette mechanism patent shows that it the patent is dated 1937 and we believe the clips are probably Ca. 1940. In Excellent Condition, there are about three dark stones and some gradations in color of the clear rhinestones as is almost always the rule, but the condition of this piece ranks among the best of its kind.
