Item Description:
An incredible example of the vintage glassblowers art in Italy in the 1950s, this rare banana fruit necklace of hand made glass bananas, leaves and beads is a rare find. Bananas are quite rare. It measures approximately 17-1/4" and has its original chain linked beads and spring ring closure with wire wrapped bananas and leaves. The necklace is in Excellent Condition for its age, but we are sure that despite its full appearance some of the original fruit and leaves are probably gone although not noticeably so.
