This is a gorgeous sterling art deco brooch with hundreds of marcasites and corner butterfly? pierced design. 2-1/4" across. This beauty has the initials BN in the center on either side of another butterfly? all in marcasites. These initial brooches were popular in the 1920-30's and can still be enjoyed today even if your initials do not match! If you or someone you know has the initials BN, then you are lucky and can't pass this up...However, the center section where the initials are is removeable. Once removed you can have a real or faux stone set inside. I've done this several times.
