Legion of the Moose Celluloid Tape Measure Marked W.Germany

This tape measure is in great shape. It measures 1 3/4" wide x 1 1/2" high. The bottom left corner of the reverse side is stamped "W. Germany". It has a 70 inch metal measure which retracts well. Printed between the inches on the actual tape measure is: "Made In Western Germany", "The Vernon Co., Newton, Iowa", and "Keep Clean Well Oiled". This is a unique item as I could not find another like it on the internet. It is a vintage combination letter opener and six inch ruler made of wood. Pair of Eastern Star 1939-1940 Leatherette Covers For ?

The smaller cover (2 3/4" high x 2 1/8" wide) fits inside the larger one(3 1/4" high x 2 1/2" wide). They have decorative brass corners. There is a dent in the lower corner of the larger cover. The small one has a gold Eastern Star insignia; the large one has in gold: S.R.W.C. 1939 - 1940. I have been unable to locate any information on this cover nor on the set.
